 Ingredients:
For the steak bites:
- 500g beef steak (cut into bite-sized cubes)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
For the mashed potatoes:
- 4 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk (warm)
- Salt (to taste)
 Instructions:
- Prepare the potatoes:
- Boil the potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes, until tender.
- Drain and mash them with butter and warm milk until smooth and creamy.
- Add salt to taste and set aside.
- Cook the steak bites:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat.
- Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.
- Add steak to the pan and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned.
