Smash Burger (Crispy & Juicy)
Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
- Salt & black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- Pickles
- Butter
Sauce:
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp pickle juice (secret ingredient )
Instructions:
Prepare the beef:
- Divide the beef into small balls (don’t overwork it)
This keeps it juicy
Smash (most important step ):
- Heat a pan or griddle VERY hot.
- Place the beef ball on it.
- Press it down firmly (smash) into a thin patty.
Don’t move it — let it form a crispy crust
Flip & add cheese:
- Flip once the edges are crispy.
- Add cheese immediately
- Let it melt
Toast the buns:
- Spread butter on buns.
- Toast until golden
Build your burger:
- Bun + sauce
- Beef + melted cheese
- Onions + pickles
- Top bun
Done! Super juicy + crispy smash burger
Pro Tips:
- High heat = crispy edges
- Smash only once (at the beginning)
- Don’t flip multiple times.
