Ingredients:
- 1 baguette or hoagie rolls
- 300g ground beef (or thinly sliced steak)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 green bell pepper (optional)
- 2 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese sauce)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting bread)
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook slowly until soft and caramelized.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the ground beef (or steak), season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned.
